Several thousand schoolchildren visited the site of the Rosseti Siberia branch – Krasnoyarskenergo – at the All-Russian specialized forum “Modern Security Systems – Anti-Terror”, which was held in the regional capital.

For three days, from May 20 to 22, at the “ABC of Safety” site, schoolchildren were told who power engineers are and what their work is. The power engineers showed the children the special clothing and equipment they use every day on power lines.

In addition, they shared important electrical safety rules: they explained that substations and transformer booths are not a place for games, and an electrical wire lying on the ground is a source of mortal danger.

Even the youngest guests of the forum took part in an energy quiz, solved thematic puzzles and crosswords, and assembled a circuit using a smart construction set to light a light bulb. Moreover, not only boys, but also girls understood with interest the principles of operation of electrical circuits. After all, energy is always fascinating when knowledge is supported by practice.

“I really liked the interactive experience, that you can touch everything with your hands and learn interesting facts about electricity,” Nikita, a 9th grade student, shares his impressions.

In total, the specialized forum “Antiterror-2026” was visited by more than 12 thousand people. The event has been held since 2006 and brings together participants from all over the country to discuss anti-terrorism security issues. The forum annually hosts educational and interactive platforms for young people.

This year, Rosseti Sibir became a partner of the Cyber Patrol competition, which was organized by the Regional Management Center (RMC). 1,277 schoolchildren from different districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in it. The guys created content for social networks to prevent bullying and other crimes. The best teams were awarded at the Anti-Terror forum, including prizes from energy workers.

“The Rosseti Siberia company pays special attention to issues of security and effective interaction. That’s why we are a partner in this important project and believe that healthy communication is the key to success!” — emphasized Inna Gordienko, Director of Human Resources Management at Rosseti Siberia.

The Rosseti Sibir branch, Krasnoyarskenergo, was thanked by the organizers for its contribution to the organization and conduct of the forum.
