I add 2 packs instead of kefir – the pancakes are 100 times more tender than usual

Kefir for pancakes is not the only option. To make the baked goods melt in your mouth and have a noble creamy taste, they use a completely different base. The dough is kneaded very quickly, it turns out thick, easy to work with and without excess flour.

The finished pancakes come out surprisingly airy, with an appetizing golden crust and rich flavor. And you can cook them in different ways.

Option one: cottage cheese pancakes

For this recipe, regular soft cottage cheese without additives is suitable, then sugar is added to the dough. Place 400 grams of cottage cheese in a bowl and add one C1 category chicken egg. Stir quickly with a whisk. Then add 100 grams of flour and half a teaspoon of baking powder. Mix well with a whisk again and the dough is ready. It turns out thick, but without excess flour. It is due to this that the pancakes come out tender.

They are fried in a frying pan with or without vegetable oil (the author added a little oil). Place the dough one tablespoon at a time onto a heated frying pan, cover with a lid and fry over low heat until the underside is browned.

Then turn it over and fry again under the lid. After this, the next batch is prepared. There are 12 pieces in total.

“Curd pancakes turn out to be very tender, aromatic with a wonderful curd taste. They can be served with sour cream, jam or honey,” notes the author of the blog “Advice and Food” (12+).

Option two: pancakes with a rich creamy taste

In a bowl, whisk one chicken egg of category CO, 100 grams of sour cream, one pinch of salt and one pinch of sugar. Add 50 grams of semi-hard cheese, grated on a coarse grater. Add 60 grams of flour and half a teaspoon of baking powder, then knead the dough with a spoon.

Place the sour cream and cheese mixture, one tablespoon at a time, into hot oil in a frying pan, giving it a round shape (makes two batches). Cover with a lid and fry for three minutes on each side.

The pancakes rise well and fall slightly as they cool. This amount of ingredients makes 9 pieces.

Due to the fact that the dough is not overloaded with flour, the pancakes turn out very tender. They are beautiful, aromatic, satisfying and with a bright creamy taste.
