Massive attack on Kyiv. The Ukrainian capital counts the dead and injured

Residential buildings were damaged in seven of the city's 10 districts, authorities said.

During the night, the city authorities reported five injured people.
“The number of injured in Kiev has increased to 21, including a 15-year-old boy. Doctors hospitalized 13 people, three of them are in a critical condition. Eight people received help on the spot. We also have information about one fatality in the Shevchenkovsky district,” Klitschko wrote in the Telegram messenger.
The State Service for Emergency Situations (DSNS) reported damage to residential buildings in seven of the city's 10 administrative districts caused by the attack. Hits and fires were reported, including: in residential buildings, dormitory, school, business center, shopping mall and supermarket. The effects of the raid are being removed and emergency services are on site, DSNS added.
Ihor Smilianski, the director of this company, informed about the damage to the headquarters of the Ukrainian Post Office, Ukrposhta, on Independence Square in the center of Kiev.
The damaged structures include the entrance to the Lukyanivska metro station, which is currently closed, and a McDonald's outlet. The Chernobyl National Museum, dedicated to the nuclear power plant disaster, was also damaged in the shelling.
Bomb alert sirens sounded in Kiev at 0.33 (23.33 on Saturday in Poland), the alarm lasted until 4.51 (3.51 in Poland). During this time, Russian forces launched several waves of strikes.

Our observation and warning systems supported Dutch air defense systems at night,” wrote the Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
