Former French Formula 1 driver Alain Prost, 71, was injured in a robbery at his home in Switzerland, according to local media. The athlete suffered a blow to the head.

According to theguardian, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning when several masked individuals broke into Alain Prost's home while several family members were inside.
The criminals threatened those inside and forced the former champion's son to open a safe, before fleeing with valuables.
The Swiss prosecutor's office confirmed that an investigation into a robbery is underway, stating that one person in the home suffered minor head injuries.
“The perpetrators entered the home while the occupants were present, threatened them and forced the opening of a safe, after which they fled with the stolen goods”the authorities sent, emphasizing that the operation to identify the suspects is ongoing.
Sources cited by the Swiss media claim that Alain Prost was “visibly affected” of the incident and would later have left his home in Nyon, a town located on the shores of Lake Geneva.
