The National Arena, the country's largest stadium, will host the concert of the Belarusian artist Max Korzh, banned in his native country and Russia, on the evening of May 23.
While the National Arena was getting ready for Saturday night's concert, the Old Center of Bucharest was filled with foreign fans of the artist.
Most of them come by coach to the territory of Romania, and the MAI went on alert and is preparing measures to manage the event where more than 40,000 people are expected.

Max Korzh performed in several European cities. After taking a break for a month, he returned to the stage and performed in stadiums in Prague, Riga, Tallinn and Warsaw. On Saturday, the artist will arrive in Bucharest for the first time, and the concert tickets sold out in just 5 days. The fans stormed the center of Bucharest a few days before the event.
The Gendarmerie has asked the Professional Football League not to schedule any matches on May 23 in Bucharest due to a lack of staff: most of the available staff will be sent to the country's largest stadium so that the event can take place in the best conditions.
MAI made arrangements for Max Korzh's concert
“The missions will be carried out in an integrated system, with the participation of public order, police, prevention and intervention structures, as well as through cooperation with internal and external institutional partners, where the operational situation requires it.
Canine and equestrian teams will also be integrated into the device, along with the other operational structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to ensure public order, prevent incidents and support rapid intervention in areas of operational interest.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs recommends that participants comply with the instructions of law enforcement, arrive at the event site in time, avoid the introduction of prohibited objects, behave responsibly and immediately report to the law enforcement any situation that may endanger the safety of people.
Special attention is recommended to parents and companions attending the event with minors. They are advised to supervise children at all times, to pre-arrange a meeting point in case of separation from the group, and to request the support of law enforcement whenever necessary.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will act so that the event takes place in safe conditions, with respect for the rights of the participants and with the firm application of the law in situations that require the intervention of the authorities”, the statement from the MAI states.
