The University of Craiova has already fixed its winter camp, which will take place in Turkey, in Belek, between January 2 and 12.

Coach Filipe Coelho and the players are focused these days on Thursday's match with AEK Athens, crucial for qualification in the Conference League play-offs. But in the background, the club officials worked on perfecting the winter camp.

Sources from the University's entourage revealed to Gazeta Sporturilor that the Juves will leave on January 2nd for Belek, Turkey, and will prepare there until January 12th, when they are scheduled to return to the country.

The University players will stay at a 5-star hotel, where a room costs 392 euros per night

In Belek, Ștefan Baiaram, Nicușor Bancu and their teammates will enjoy luxurious conditions. The batch will be accommodated at the 5-star Regnum Carya complex, where a room for 2 adults costs 392 euros per night.

Regnum Carya is located in Belek Bay and offers indoor and outdoor pools with water slides, a luxurious spa with massages, sauna and steam room, and a private sandy beach. The hotel is located on the Carya golf course.

Accommodation at Regnum Carya is spacious and has a private balcony or terrace, most with views of the Mediterranean Sea. All rooms are equipped with LCD TV with satellite channels.

Some suites have a spa bath. Regnum Carya offers 10 different restaurants where guests can enjoy a variety of cuisines. There are à la carte restaurants, a snack bar and a patisserie. Importantly, the property is only 28 km from Antalya International Airport. And the entire training camp, without taking into account the round-trip travel, costs around 200,000 euros.

Craiova University will play friendlies with Konyaspor and VfB Stuttgart II

During the stay in Belek, the University of Craiova will also play two friendlies. Both have already been established. In the first of these, scheduled for January 7, Olten will meet Konyaspor, a team currently in 12th place in Turkey's first league. Former Sepsi and FCSB winger Marius Ștefănescu plays in Konya.

The Konya test will be followed on January 10 by one against VfB Stuttgart II. The second team of the Bundesliga club plays in Germany's third division. Gazeta Sporturilor learned that, according to the customs in such situations, if any of these friendlies is canceled at the request of one of the clubs, it will have to pay the other a compensation of 10,000 euros.
