Florin Bratu, the coach of Metaloglobus, commented on the Super League season finale, in which his team, already relegated, defeated Farul Constanța, indirectly influencing the fight to save Petrolul Ploiești from relegation.

The technician also spoke about the fact that Petrol, despite losing 1-5 to Oțelul Galați, finally managed to secure their stay in the first league through involuntary help. Bratu also commented on Octavian Popescu's reaction to Gheorghe Hagi's calls to the national team.

Florin Bratu, after the end of the season: “I don't think I have any fault”

The technician said that he did not receive any messages from the Petrolul Ploiești club, but their player, Sergiu Hanca, was congratulated.

“I don't think I'm to blame. Petrolul didn't send me any message. Sergiu Hanca gave me a message, he congratulated me. We not only prepared for this match, but also in the last 3-4 matches we played well.

I don't like to talk about such things. Honestly, I feel sorry for the Lighthouse, I hope they fix their problems. Ethere is a big club in Romania that should not have ended up in this situation. There are smart people out there and I hope they save themselves“, said Bratu on the show “Footbal Club” from Digi Sport.

Florin Bratu: “Tavi Popescu, reaction of frustration”

Asked about Octavian Popescu's ironic post about Gheorghe Hagi's convocations, Bratu said that he sees the gesture as a possible reaction of frustration, but without giving it a negative connotation.

“I don't think so. I think it's more of a reaction out of frustration. I don't know if he deserves to be called up, but if you have reactions like that, it's probably out of frustration. Although I know Tavi, it didn't seem to go that way, but someone must have told him to take back those ironic smiles,” added the coach.
