The State Duma introduced a draft federal law, proposing to stop punishing drivers for applying tinting on the glass of the car and its tuning. The document appeared on the official website.
The authors of the bill argue that the coating on glass reduces the harmful effects of sunlight and prevents overheating of the cabin. As examples, they provide a number of other countries, including Uzbekistan, the Netherlands and the UAE, where tinting is allowed.
The deputies also believe that the initiative can positively affect the number of thefts-supposedly because of tinting, it will be more difficult for criminals to make out valuable things inside the car.
According to Yamal 1, the experts of the Roskacality emphasize that the tinting rules have already been established in GOST. In particular, under the ban are mirror films and coatings, which prevent the driver from distinguishing between white, yellow, red, green and blue.
Recall that now the Administrative Code provides for a fine of 500 rubles for “non -compliance with the light transmission of glasses to the technical regulations.”
