FCSB Europa League 2025/2026 results
The only away victory was with Go Ahead Eagles, score 0-1, and the success with Feyenoord, 4-3, remained the most spectacular moment of the season.
FCSB started the season in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, where they were eliminated by North Macedonia's Shkendija, 1–3 on aggregate, and later reached the Europa League.
An emotional route followed for the red-blues: 4-3 on aggregate with Inter Club d'Escaldes (Andorra), 6-3 on aggregate with FC Drita (Kosovo) and 5-2 on aggregate against those from Aberdeen (Netherlands).
FCSB can still catch the Conference League through the playoffs
Although the European season was a modest one, FCSB still have a chance to reach the UEFA Conference League.
The red-blues finished in second place in the play-out and will contest a play-off for the European cups. In the semifinal, FCSB will meet FC Botoșani on May 24, at the “Steaua” stadium, and in case of a qualification, it will play the final away, 5 days later, at the “Arcul de Triumf” stadium, against Dinamo Bucharest.
Only winning this mini-tournament can ensure the presence of the red-blues in a European competition, implicitly the UEFA Conference League.
