2 packs of cottage cheese and any berries – this pie is tastier than cheesecake: eaten while the kettle is boiling

For lovers of delicious homemade baked goods, today we offer you to prepare a curd and berry pie. The dish turns out very tasty and is quite simple to prepare. The crumbly shortbread dough combined with a delicate curd filling will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ingredients

Dough:

  • flour – 250 g
  • sugar – 120 g
  • pinch of salt
  • baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • butter – 100 g
  • 1 egg

Berries or fruits:

  • 400 g
  • 1 tbsp. l. starch

Curd filling:

  • cottage cheese – 400 g
  • sour cream – 100 g
  • sugar – 50 g
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.

How to cook

First you need to make shortcrust pastry. Sift 250 grams of flour into a bowl. Add 120 grams of sugar there, add a pinch of salt and one teaspoon of baking powder. Everything is mixed with a whisk. After this, 100 grams of butter is added.

Then use your hands to quickly grind the dough into crumbs. One egg is driven in here, and the mass is mixed again. While the dough is put in the refrigerator under film.

Now it’s the turn of the curd filling. In a separate bowl, mix 400 grams of cottage cheese and 100 grams of sour cream. The author adds 50 grams of sugar, two eggs and vanilla sugar. Everything is crushed with an immersion blender to a homogeneous consistency – it is necessary that there are no lumps left.

All the dough is sent to the baking dish. It needs to be leveled, pressing over the entire surface, and high sides must be made.

Next, take 400 grams of any berries or fruits – fresh or defrosted. Add one tablespoon of starch: it will absorb excess juice and the pie will not turn out soggy. The berries are laid out on the dough and distributed evenly.

Place the curd filling on top of the pie and smooth it out. All that remains is to place the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40–50 minutes.
