Cristian Bud, 40 years old, former striker and three-time champion of Romania with CFR Cluj, now lives in Switzerland, where he reprofiled after his retirement. He currently does Uber racing, among other things, and admits that he earns very well, even better than he would have earned from football.

After retiring from football, Bud did not take the coaching route. In the spring of this year, Bud agreed to fight in the cage, in Bucharest, as part of the RXF Next Fighter 29 event. At that time, he admitted that the money collected was more than the high premiums of the CFR period.

Also for financial reasons, he also chose to do Uber, having rides in Switzerland, where he is now established.

Currently, Bud divides his life between Romania and Switzerland, where he still plays football at the amateur level. Also in Switzerland, he secures part of the money, revealing that in a month the earnings can reach 10,000 Swiss francs.

“I also do Uber, in Zurich. I go less often. When everyone hears it, they say: “Well, you…” Well, I earn more money than in football. If I went out and stayed 8-10 hours a day, in a month, I would make eight to ten thousand francs. I mean, pretty good. Very good, really!” said Bud, quoted by iamsport.ro.
