According to him, the arguments presented by the Polish side played an important role.
– The facts are that these messages from the American administration itself are evolving and this is an evolution that seems to show that this offensive and the presentation of various types of arguments are important – said Tomczyk. — The voice that came from Congress to the American administration was unambiguous, and it was a voice of deep support for Poland – he added.
The Texas Brigade and the reduction of forces in Europe
The first media reports indicated that The Pentagon unexpectedly canceled the deployment of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Group (ABCT) to Poland stationed in Texas for a nine-month rotational tour of duty. For a long time, representatives of the Department of Defense did not publicly specify what the final structure of the American forces deployed on the Vistula River would look like. The situation remained unclear until Tuesday.
Both Parnell and Tomczyk indicate that the detailed shape of the distribution of contingents in Poland and other parts of Europe will be determined during consultations in the coming weeks.
