Wave of indignation after the recording shared by the Israeli minister. “Monstrous”

Ben-Gewir, one of the most influential far-right politicians in the government, published a video showing him mocking the detainees. You can see several dozen activists kneeling on the ground while an amused Ben-Gevir waves an Israeli flag and shouts in Hebrew: “Welcome to Israel, we rule here.”
Another shot shows activists on board the ship as the Israeli national anthem plays over loudspeakers. In the next shot, Ben-Gevir argues with one of the men and repeats the popular slogan: “The Jewish nation lives.”
A wave of indignation after the behavior of Minister Ben-Gevir. “The barbaric mentality of the Netanyahu government”
The minister's behavior was condemned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “The way Minister Ben-Gevir treated the flotilla activists is not in line with Israel's values and norms,” Netanyahu wrote on the official X website account.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar also criticized Ben-Gevir for publishing the video. “You have consciously harmed our country with this shameful show – and not for the first time,” he wrote on X. In response, Ben-Gewir accused Saar of submissiveness to “supporters of terrorism.”
The behavior of the Israeli minister caused a wave of outrage around the world. American Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee wrote on X: “The flotilla was a stupid act, but Ben Gwir betrayed the dignity of his nation.”
French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot announced that he had ordered the Israeli ambassador to be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with Ben-Gevir's behavior.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey criticized the minister without mentioning his name. Turkish diplomacy noted that the politician “once again showed the brutal and barbaric mentality of the Netanyahu government.”
Government of Spain also condemned the treatment of activists from the aid flotilla. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Madrid described it as “monstrous, shameful and inhumane.”
Israeli Ambassador to Canada will be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the treatment of activists participating in the Sumud flotilla, it said the country's foreign minister, Anita Anand.
Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani also summoned the Israeli ambassador to protest against the actions of the Israeli minister, which he considered disrespectful to human dignity.
Irish Foreign Minister Helen McEntee she, in turn, stated that she was “shocked and outraged by the recording.”
Sumud Flotilla stopped by Israel
Another Global Sumud Flotilla set off from Turkey towards the coast of the Gaza Strip last week. As the organizers declared, its goal was to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip established by the Israeli military and create a humanitarian corridor to the Palestinian semi-enclave.
