In Krasnoyarsk, a turning loop was dismantled on the Northern Highway

KrUDor spoke about the ongoing work to reconstruct the interchange at the Bypass of Krasnoyarsk.

Currently noOn the Northern Highway near Solontsy, specialists are completing the installation of a culvert and the dismantling of the turning loop.

“In an area previously closed to traffic, the installation of a culvert is being completed – now layer-by-layer backfilling with inert material is underway with further compaction with rollers. Road workers are also preparing the foundation for the construction of an underground pedestrian crossing, removing old soil and the remains of concrete structures. The work is complicated by waterlogged soils – this area is now practically a swamp. In addition, specialists have almost completed the dismantling of one of the turning loops and have begun rebuilding it with an additional transitional express lane,” said the head of KrUDor AAndrey Zhuravlev.

Soon the contractor, NBS-Siberia LLC, will begin constructing retaining walls near the underground pedestrian crossing. In this regard, the usual exit from the village of Novaland will be closed, and traffic at the entrance will be two-way. Drivers will be informed additionally about the introduction of restrictions, approximately in early June.
