In Krasnoyarsk, a traffic light against traffic jams started working on the Kalininsky ring

In the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk, a new traffic light was installed on Kalinin Street.

It operates only during morning and evening rush hours; the rest of the time you need to drive around the ring according to the requirements of road signs, said the UDIB.

Now experts are monitoring traffic and congestion situations. If necessary, the operating time of the phases will be changed in order to configure them as efficiently as possible.

There are also plans to move public transport stops and change the location of the pedestrian crossing.

The UDIB recalled that all these measures are aimed at increasing traffic capacity and safety on the road, and are being implemented after an open meeting of residents of the Oktyabrsky district with Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin.
