Former Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vitaly Bobrov has died

Ex died Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and ex-director of the polar branch of the Norilsk Nickel company Vitaly Bobrov. He was 70 years old.
Bobrov’s former colleagues shared the sad news today on social networks.
“Vitaly Pavlovich was a wonderful person with a broad soul. It was always easy to work with him. He was not a politician – a real production worker and business executive,” said ruhead of the governor's administration Sergey Ponomarenko.
The head of the region also joined in the condolences, Legislative Assembly and government:
“Vitaly Pavlovich made an important contribution to the development of the region. He worked his way up from a smelter to the head of a large metallurgical enterprise. He coordinated the work of the fuel and energy complex and forestry in the region, and did a lot for the regional capital. His experience, knowledge, responsibility and professionalism helped to effectively solve the most complex management problems. We will preserve the good memory of Vitaly Pavlovich Bobrov and his services to the Krasnoyarsk Territory.”
Vitaly Bobrov was born in Gomel. He began his career at the Berezniki titanium-magnesium plant in the furnace chlorination shop. After graduating from the Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology, he worked as a process engineer at the Moscow Electric Vacuum Devices Plant. In 1983 he came to the Norilsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, at the beginning of the 2000s he became the director of the copper plant, then the director of the Polar Division of the MMC for production. In 2004, he was appointed deputy governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (coordinated the activities of fuel and energy and forestry enterprises), in 2007 he became the first deputy head of Krasnoyarsk. Since April 2009, Vitaly Bobrov has been in charge of architecture and urban planning issues in Krasnoyarsk, since July 2010 he has been the chairman of the Board of Directors of Kraskom LLC, and in 2014 he became director of the branch of Rosseti OJSC – the Technical Supervision Center.
Vitaly Bobrov had the honorary titles: “Personnel Worker of the Plant”, “Veteran of Labor of the Russian Federation”, was awarded the Order of Friendship and certificates of honor. He was interested in fishing, hunting and volleyball.
