The Kyiv Court of Appeal chose a preventive measure in the form of 24-hour house arrest for Oleksandr Markushyn. On 24.01, the court chose Markushyna as a preventive measure in the form of detention, and on 27.01, he was removed from the post of mayor of Irpen. Markushyn is involved in 18 criminal cases, including illegal deprivation of liberty and torture of people, fraud, forgery of documents and embezzlement of funds from the local budget of the destroyed Irpen.
