Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to free open-air film screenings

May 18 15:00

In Krasnoyarsk, the open-air cinema “Mom, I’m going to the cinema!” May 30 opens the season of shows at four venues at once – in Entuziastov Square, Gagarin Park, Pokrovsky and Solnechnaya Polyana.

On this day, residents and guests of the city will be able to watch for free the film “Field of Miracles” released in 2025, about how a group of children spends the summer in a holiday village. The children have their own headquarters hidden from prying eyes in a corn field and a legend that says that not far from the village there is a treasure with the treasures of the princess who fled from Napoleon.

“A new season of street cinemas is opening. This is a reason to get together with friends, watch a good movie and just have a pleasant evening in warm company,” noted the Krasgorpark UIA.

Let us remind you that the street cinema “Mom, I’m going to the cinema!” began work in 2020 on the initiative of employees of the youth center “Your Business” and the NGO “Professional Center for Continuing Education and Social Technologies”. Initially, all sessions took place in Serebryany Square in the Oktyabrsky district. However, the project was later scaled up.

In 2022, the project will have a second screen and another organizer – the youth “IT center”. Thanks to this, it was possible to hold more shows in different parts of the city.
