Beeline and YADRO provided communications at CIPR-2026

18 May 17:03

Beeline and the technology company YADRO (part of ICS Holding) provided mobile communications at the CIPR-2026 conference in Nizhny Novgorod. The operator’s commercial network uses domestic telecom equipment YADRO: with its help, communication is available inside the pavilions of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair for real Beeline clients.

The YADRO BTS 8100 base station supports operation in GSM and LTE networks and provides indoor communications in two pavilions: voice calls and data transfer for Beeline clients. After the end of the exhibition, the equipment will remain on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair and will continue to serve the site.

“We, together with Russian manufacturers, are solving the difficult task of integrating their solutions into the Beeline commercial network. The experience of CIPR-2026 with YADRO equipment shows that domestic developments are capable of providing communications in practice. At the same time, we understand that in order to achieve stable results nationwide, serious work remains to be done – from fine tuning to adaptation to different regional conditions. The approach will be balanced; we will implement solutions step by step, based on the data received and feedback. Today, YADRO equipment is already operating in Beeline’s commercial network in the Leningrad, Moscow, Novosibirsk regions and Krasnodar Territory, and by the end of 2026 it is planned to connect their base stations in more than 30 regions,” said Valery Shorzhin, deputy general director, head of the technical block of Beeline.

The joint project became the next stage of cooperation between YADRO and Beeline. In 2024, YADRO presented engineering samples of its own base station at CIPR. In 2025, the companies demonstrated the operation of domestic telecom equipment on the Beeline network: voice calls in GSM and data transfer in LTE on commercially available client devices. In 2026, the equipment moved from a demonstration scenario to permanent operation at one of the key business sites in Nizhny Novgorod.

“Over the past three years, we have gone from engineering samples to operating equipment in an operator’s commercial network under real load. It is important for us that the YADRO base station is not used in an isolated demonstration circuit, but serves real clients. This confirms the maturity of our software and hardware platform and readiness for further scaling together with operators,” noted Yulia Klebanova, director of development of telecommunications at YADRO.
