The weather is a challenge not only for Poczta Polska. Due to difficult weather conditions, lessons were canceled on Monday, among others. in Szczecin, Stargard, Świnoujście, Gryfino and Pyrzyce. As the West Pomeranian Education Board informed PAP, classes were suspended, among others. in 73 primary schools, 60 secondary schools and 9 kindergartens. More than 130 schools suspended educational classes on Monday.
Due to freezing rain and black ice, road conditions in the province West Pomeranian Voivodeship are still very difficult. Local authorities ask people not to use cars. The Provincial Police Headquarters announced at 17.00 that there were 175 road collisions on Monday.
