The Polish Embassy in Sofia informed on Saturday about Polish traditions that are cultivated in Dara's homeland. At the Polish school in Varna, the workshops “In the Footsteps of Polish Culture, Dance and Melody” have come to an end, during which the participants danced the krakowiak, gacok and shoemaker, as well as sang folk songs “Krakowiaczek Jedno” and “W moja gardenecku”. “A unique element was the presentation of beautiful Krakow costumes that our school received as part of the project,” write the event organizers.

The event was honored by the presence of Anna Pachla, Polish consul in Bulgaria, who presented prizes for participation in the “Colors of Poland in folk costumes” competition.

“It was a beautiful time of discovering and cultivating Polish traditions and culture together,” Poles from Bulgaria sum up Saturday's celebration.
