Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said at a press conference that European leaders follow him to the toilet and ask about the illegitimate president of the aggressor country, Russia, Vladimir Putin. The video was published on YouTube by the Slovak channel HNtelevízia.
Fico made this statement while commenting on his visit to Moscow on May 9.
He noted that Europe is obliged to conduct a “normal dialogue” with the Russian Federation and show the same respect to “Russian partners” as to Ukrainian ones. According to the Slovak Prime Minister, Putin always conducts such a dialogue with him.
Fico said that after his contacts with the head of the Kremlin, criticism is publicly heard in the EU, but unofficially the Europeans are interested in what they are talking about.
“They criticize me, but believe me, then, when I go to the toilet, they follow me and ask me in this toilet: “Robert, what did Putin say?” And I tell them: “Why, for God’s sake, don’t you go to him yourself and start a dialogue?” said the Slovak Prime Minister.
