Eurovision 2026 final. What prediction does Tudor Chirilă give for Alexandra Căpitănescu in the big evening in Vienna

Romania's representative at Eurovision 2026, Alexandra Căpitănescu, will take the stage in Vienna with her band on Saturday evening.
The young woman is the second-to-last entry in the competition, which has a total of 25 countries participating, the lowest number in recent years amid the boycott due to Israel's inclusion in the competition.
The Eurovision 2026 final will be broadcast live from 22:00 on TVR, but also on the Eurovision YouTube channel.
Alexandra Căpitănescu is among the favorites to win the trophy, AFP noticed, which ranks her in 5th place before the grand final.
The young artist became known in 2023, when she won the “Vocea României” show, being coached by the soloist of the VAMA band, Tudor Chirilă.
He continued to support her even after the end of the show broadcast by ProTV and he thinks she can make a good figure tonight as well.
“It seems to me that it does honor to Romania. I predicted the first 7 places in the final, but now I dare to believe that it will be better than the first 7 places. I love Alexandra and it's a sentimental thing, but I think she deserves to be loved by all Romania who can vote”, said Chirilă, quoted by ProTV News.
The soloist of the band VAMA pointed out what are the strengths of Alexandra Căpitănescu.
“She has this sense of the stage, she's very authentic and she's not afraid to be authentic, she's not afraid of this, the fear of being ridiculed, of how I look, how people see me, and I thought that was amazing,” added the singer.
