Alert in Tulcea after the discovery of a projectile with two kilograms of explosives in a household in Pardina

A new potentially dangerous incident triggered an intervention by the authorities in Tulcea, after an unexploded projectile, loaded with explosives, was discovered in a yard in Pardina.

A new incident with potential risk has mobilized the authorities in Tulcea county, after the presence of a projectile was reported in an uninhabited property in the town of Pardina on Saturday afternoon.
According to official information, the Ministry of National Defense was informed around 15:00, and the first checks confirmed that the discovered object is an unguided, unexploded reactive projectile.
Following the preliminary evaluations, the specialists determined that there are approximately two kilograms of explosive material inside it, which led to the rapid intervention of the authorities.
The perimeter was immediately isolated, and teams of the Police, the Border Police and the Romanian Intelligence Service were mobilized to the scene, which secured the area until the arrival of military experts.
A team from the Ministry of National Defense is currently moving to the locality to analyze the situation and to determine the way to safely neutralize the projectile.
The case was taken over by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Constanța Court of Appeal, which will coordinate the investigation.
Authorities advise residents to avoid the area and strictly follow official directions.
