In the Krasnoyarsk Cadet Corps, 33 cadets were diagnosed with an intestinal infection

In the Krasnoyarsk Cadet Corps named after A.I. Lebed registered 33 cases of acute intestinal infection among students. Specialists from the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor are conducting a sanitary and epidemiological investigation into the incident.

According to the department, the disease in cadets is mild to moderate. Norovirus RNA was detected in some of the patients.

Now experts are establishing the causes of the incident. They take samples of finished products and swabs from catering facilities, and also examine employees involved in the preparation and distribution of food.

During the inspection, the cadet corps was transferred to distance learning. The situation is under control.
