Two sisters, aged 10 and 14, sexually assaulted in a school annex. The aggressor was arrested
A 32-year-old man from Călărași county was remanded in custody for 30 days, being accused of rape and attempted rape of minors. The victims are two sisters aged 14 and 10, whom he allegedly took to an annex of an educational institution.

The investigation was started after the judicial bodies came into possession of a photo in which the man appears, in an explicit sexual pose, next to the ten-year-old girl, judicial sources told News.ro. The photo was initially sent to a close person, then circulated further until it reached investigators.
The facts took place during April 2026.
According to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Călărași District Court, the man allegedly took advantage of the girls' vulnerability:
“Taking advantage of the injured persons' inability to defend themselves, determined by their age and physical constitution, but also by their inability to express their will“, the man allegedly tried to sexually abuse the 10-year-old girl and assaulted the 14-year-old.
The judicial sources specified that the man is not a teacher and does not work in the educational unit where the facts occurred. He would have rounded up the two sisters and taken them to the annex without anyone noticing. He has no criminal record.
Research continues to establish all the circumstances in which the facts occurred.
