Laurentiu Popescu, the goalkeeper of Craiova and the hero of Romanian Cup final with U Cluj (0-0, 6-5 in penalty kicks), offered statements immediately after the end of the match.
After closing the goal in the 120 minutes, Laurentiu Popescu was FIlipe Coelho's hero in the shootout.

“I am very happy, I wanted this trophy very much. I had faith that we will win this match. I am glad that we guessed the corner, we won and we will be happy tonight. It is the second final, I hope the title comes after 35 years, we have been waiting for it for a long time.
I hope that today's audience will be with us on Sunday as well, so that we can celebrate together”, said Laurentiu Popescu, at Prima Sport.
