Peter Magyar, the first gesture against Russia, on the very first day of his mandate. From Bucharest, Zelenski reacted immediately

Hungary has summoned the Russian ambassador to Budapest over the latest drone attack on western Ukraine, Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
Earlier on Wednesday, Russia launched a daytime drone attack on Ukraine that targeted critical infrastructure and killed at least three people in the west of the country, prompting NATO member Poland to ground fighter jets.
The Russian ambassador was summoned to the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday to meet with Foreign Minister Anita Orban, Magyar announced at a press conference held after the first meeting of the new cabinet in Budapest.
Hungary's foreign minister will condemn the attack at the meeting and ask the ambassador when Russia plans to end the more than four-year war in Ukraine, Prime Minister Magyar added.
Earlier on Wednesday, Anita Orban said in a video posted on Facebook that Hungary “deeply condemns” the Russian drone attacks on the ethnically Hungarian regions of western Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the summoning of the Russian ambassador from Budapest, calling it “an important message” from Hungary.
“Moscow has once again demonstrated that it is a serious threat not only to Ukraine, but also to all its neighbors and to Europe as a whole,” Zelensky wrote, in a message published on Telegram, while participating in the security meeting held in Romania – the B9 summit.
The Russian embassy in Budapest did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
The government of former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán maintained close relations with Moscow even after 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine.
