Fat in the microwave “evaporates” after 1 chip: just put a cup in and the oven is like new again

Housewives who often reheat food have probably noticed that splashes and residue remain inside the oven. It can be difficult to wipe them off, especially in hard-to-reach corners. But there is a way to simplify this task. You don't need harsh chemicals or special products to restore your appliance to perfection.

Take a glass of water, two tablespoons of table vinegar, one teaspoon of citric acid and any heat-resistant container. In a cup, mix water with vinegar and add citric acid until completely dissolved. Place the container in the center of the microwave, close the door and turn on the device at maximum power for three to five minutes. After the signal, do not open the door immediately, let the steam settle for ten minutes. Then take out the cup and wipe the inside walls with a damp cloth or soft sponge. Finally, rinse the surfaces with clean water and wipe dry.

Grease and burnt splashes will soften under the action of hot steam and acid, so they can be removed without friction or effort. This method does not scratch the coating, removes unpleasant odors and leaves a light citrus aroma. Regular use helps maintain cleanliness without long scrubbing and caustic household chemicals.
