As part of the investment program of Russian Railways OJSC, 24 3EC5K series of the 3ES5K series were received in the Krasnoyarsk Railway in the first half of the year.

Over the past 2 years, 62 new Ermaka has entered the operational locomotive depot of Abakan, including 59 – 3EC5K series and 3 – 2EC5K series. New generation cars replaced the cargo locomotives of the Vl. As a result, the depot park in 2023-2024. Updated by more than 70 %.
Through the Ermaki, this task is performed due to a special technical solution – a modified system for transmitting engine thrust on the electric locomotive axis. This allows them to operate on stamps with a complex mountainous terrain. So, in the southern move, Krasnzh, laid through the foothills of the Kuznetsk Alatau and East Sayan, they transport the compositions in areas where the height changes reach 200 meters.
Also, when developing a new electric locomotive, the harsh weather conditions of Siberia are taken into account, where in winter the air temperature can drop to –50 degrees. For the comfortable operation of the locomotive team of the Yermakov cabin, climate systems are equipped with control.
