Carlo Ancelotti signed the contract: deal until 2030

Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has extended his contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and will lead the national team until 2030. The confirmation came on Thursday, May 14.
The 66-year-old coach has been at the helm of the Brazilian national team since last year and managed to qualify for this year's World Cup, hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada. After signing the new contract, he would lead the Brazilians to the next World Cup (2030), which will be held in six countries on three continents.

“From the first minute I understood what football means to this country. Over the past year I have worked to bring the Brazilian national team back to the top of world football,” Ancelotti said, according to sport.aktuality.sk.
The former coach of Real Madrid, AC Milan or Chelsea wants, “more victories, more time and more work”.
Brazil have been knocked out in the quarter-finals at the last two World Cups and last won the title in 2002. They are currently sixth in the FIFA rankings.
CBF president Samir Xaud spoke of the contract extension as part of efforts to “keep Brazil at the highest level of football in the world”. Ancelotti is to announce the final squad for the final tournament on Monday, and then the team will play warm-up matches against the national teams of Panama (May 31) and Egypt (June 6).
Five-time world champions Brazil will set up camp in New Jersey and face Morocco, Scotland and Haiti in Group C.
