Car hit by a passenger train, in Dâmboviţa. One person died, several passengers suffered a panic attack

A person died on Thursday, after the car he was in was hit by a passenger train, in Dâmboviţa county. Three passengers suffered panic attacks but refused transport to hospital.

“Around 5:45 p.m., we were asked to intervene following a railway accident in the city of Găesti, where a car was hit by a train. Following the event, an incarcerated person was identified, in a state of unconsciousness,” ISU Dâmboviţa reported on Thursday.

The victim was extracted from the car, but was declared dead by the medical crews.

100 passengers on the train

There were about 100 passengers on the train. According to the ISU, three of them showed panic attack symptoms. They received medical attention at the scene, but later refused transport to hospital.

According to Observer News, a woman was driving the car.

The police are now conducting investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the road accident.
