❗️Car prices in Russia will skyrocket due to an increase in recycling collection from October 1
In the fall, Russia plans to increase the recycling fee for cars again. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has prepared a draft resolution that revises the payment calculation coefficients.
In the future The fee is planned to increase annually. The department reported that in 2024 it will increase on average for cars and semi-trailers by 70–85%, and then it will be increase by 10–20% every subsequent year.
From 2025, indexation will extend to electric vehicles: payments from cars under 3 years old will immediately increase by 20.6 times: up to 674 thousand rubles.
