Present in Bucharest for the B9 summit, the president of Finland did not miss going to the gym. Who did he train with?

The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, present these days in Bucharest for the B9 Summit in Cotroceni, did not miss going to the gym, the Embassy of Finland reports, given that “intense training is part of his lifestyle”.
In a post on Facebook, the Embassy of Finland in Bucharest writes about the surprise experienced on Wednesday by an old Romanian employee of the diplomatic representation: “After 25 years of activity at the Embassy of Finland, our colleague, Cătălina Sandu, had a truly special reward: a training session with the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb”.
Cătălina Sandu is responsible for communication and PR at the Embassy of Finland. According to his own Facebook post, he agreed with Alexander Stubb “to train again and in another 25 years”.
According to the embassy, President Stubb, who is a sports enthusiast, practices and follows numerous sports disciplines.
“Over time, he played ice hockey, football and handball, and in golf he reached the national team level. Currently, he practices cycling, swimming, running, skiing and triathlon”, the embassy also states about the Finnish president, noting that “intense training is part of his lifestyle, and in 2025 he also launched a physical activity program for young recruits”.
The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, was among the state leaders who participated, on Wednesday, in the Bucharest Format 9 (B9) and Nordic Countries Summit, an event hosted at the Cotroceni Palace by President Nicușor Dan, together with the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki. The summit was also attended by the head of NATO, Mark Rutte, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as representatives of the USA, the Scandinavian states and the states on NATO's eastern flank.
