NordStar Airlines presented veterans of the Great Patriotic War with certificates for flights for family and friends

On the eve of Victory Day, NordStar Airlines presented certificates for free flights to veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in Norilsk and the Norilsk industrial region.
The certificates are intended for issuing air tickets for family members and relatives who will be able to visit veterans during holiday celebrations.
The airline's campaign is designed to support the connection between generations and give veterans the opportunity to have long-awaited meetings with family and friends living in different regions of the country.
“Free flights for veterans of the Great Patriotic War are a tribute to a feat that is more than 80 years old, and the value of which is growing and strengthening every year. We consider every veteran an honorary passenger and are always happy to see you on board our flights. Unfortunately, every year these people become fewer and fewer, and due to age and health conditions, only a few of them fly, despite the fact that the promotion is valid for a whole year without restrictions. In 2026 this year, we decided to make a separate gift to veterans of the city of Norilsk – the main and most important territory of presence for the base air carrier. On the eve of May 9, we presented separate certificates for free flights, which can be used to issue tickets to family, friends and friends so that they can visit veterans in Norilsk. We hope that this will bring pleasant emotions to veterans during the holidays or later,” said NordStar Airlines CEO Leonid Mokhov.
Congratulations received a warm response among veterans and their families. Many noted that thanks to the certificates, they would be able to get together for a family holiday in Norilsk for the first time in a long time.
NordStar Airlines also reminds us of the possibility of free flights for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, war veterans and their accompanying persons. Flights within the program can be made across the airline’s entire route network, which includes more than 35 destinations. You can use the flight regardless of holidays – the program operates on an ongoing basis, without time limits, and is available all year round.
The route network of NordStar Airlines includes flights to Abakan, Volgograd, Vladikavkaz, Gelendzhik, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Kurgan, Mineralnye Vody, Makhachkala, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Norilsk, Omsk, Perm, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Tyumen, Ufa and Chelyabinsk. This allows veterans and their families to plan trips at any time of the year – to meet loved ones, visit memorial sites or receive medical care.
A complete list of categories of citizens entitled to free flights is posted on the airline’s official website nordstar.ru in the “Special Offers” section.
To book a flight, the passenger must present a document confirming membership in the appropriate preferential category, as well as a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. Foreign citizens require a document certifying a residence permit in Russia. Tickets can be purchased at any ticket agency.
NordStar Airlines expresses its gratitude to war veterans and disabled people and will continue to support those who made an invaluable contribution to the history of the country.
