The answer of Ilie Bolojan, asked if the “Predoiu faction” suffers from “the disease that is pesedism”

The leader of the PNL, Ilie Bolojan, declared that he has nothing to reproach his colleagues from the party who took a different position from him regarding the strategy in the political crisis and reporting to the PSD after dismissing the Government through a censure motion alongside the AUR.
The liberal accused PSD, on Monday evening, on Digi24, that “it is the embodiment” of a “disease” as a governing philosophy, “in which the institution is run as a kind of personal patrimony by the one who ends up at the head of the institution or company”.
“There is the thinking, and I said, the 'disease', which is pesedism, in which the institution is run as a kind of personal heritage by the one who ends up at the head of the institution or the company. This is the variant that created a lot of problems for us. This disease is not only in the PSD, because when you stay with the PSD, let's be clear, these gripes are transferred to everyone. All the parties that have been in a government, in one way or another, have these diseases, everywhere, but, of course, PSD, whether we like it or not, is the embodiment of this disease”, declared Ilie Bolojan.
What did he say about the Liberals who oppose going into opposition
When asked if liberals like Hubert Thuma, Cătălin Predoiu, Nicoleta Pauliuc, Alina Gorghiu and Rareș Bogdan, who spoke out in favor of remaining in government, suffer from what he described as “a disease that is pesedism”, Ilie Bolojan answered: “They are totally different aspects”.
“It's one thing to be involved in all kinds of networks of support, of planting people, it's one situation, and therefore to use public office for personal advantages or for political clients, and it's another to have a different perspective on some political actions or your life experience to take you in one area or another,” he continued.
The PNL leader described Cătălin Predoiu as “an experienced man”, with whom he had “a good collaboration” in government activity.
Bolojan also said that if he has to say something to his colleagues, he will do it in private, not in the public space.
“In the party, everyone expressed a point of view during the internal debate. The National Liberal Party made a decision to no longer collaborate with the PSD and, in the situation where the PSD reaches the government, to enter the opposition. Colleagues, after this decision, no matter what their perspective was internally, no matter how they voted, some abstained, others voted for, they respected this decision at least until now. This is a democratic rule in a party. Against this type of approach, internal positioning, I have nothing to reproach a colleague who did not agree with me in one way or another”, added Ilie Bolojan.
