The program suspected only a few hours after the chairman of the American Federal Communications Commission Brendan Carr threatened to take action against Disney and ABC in connection with Kimmel's comments. “We can do it in an easy or difficult way,” said Carr.
On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk, one of the leaders of the Magician movement, was murdered in the Utah state. The murderer's motives are not yet clear. He comes from a conservative family, he probably radicalized on the internet.
Apparently, for Trump and the American right, however, it does not matter who the killer is – now it's time for purge. And because we are talking about the United States, the television star – Jimmy Kimmel became one of the first victims. This is a very dangerous precedent for the USA and the entire West.
Meanwhile, the magician movement makes his conspiracy theories. According to the president and vice president, there is a network of “extremely left -wing groups” behind the murder of Charlie Kirk. Stephen Miller, one of the most important advisers of the US president, said that the radical left creates a “huge network of native terrorists.” Trump also recognized Antifa as a terrorist organization.
As Miller said, the government will use all its resources to “identify, disturb, break down and destroy these networks so that America becomes safe again.” In the past, Stephen Miller called the entire democratic party.

Freedom of speech not for everyone
Of course, all democratic politicians immediately did the right and decent – they condemned the murder of Charlie Kirk. This also applies to members of the party's left wing.
The claim that most of the acts of political violence in the United States are committed by a radical left is simply a lie. Scientific Kwartalnik “Journal of Democracy”, the American Government Responsibility Office (US Government Accountability Office) and the Non-Governmental Organization of the League against defamation (Anti-Defamation League) analyzed the data and came to the following application: from 2001 75–80 percent. The extreme right committed acts of political violence in the USA. So what “leftist terrorist networks” says Stephen Miller?
However, we are still in America, not in the Soviet Union – Jimmy Kimmel was not pulled into the car by masked agents and taken to Łubianka. The concern, to which Kimmel's television station, “Nexstar Media” belongs, simply did what the government expected – Kimmel's program suspended.

Apparently, the concern did not want to make the same mistake as CBS, a television station, which a few weeks ago removed the popular “Late Show” program with Stephen Colbert from the antenna. Stephen Colbert was released because he made the president's favorite goal of his sarcasm.
His program will be broadcast until May 2026 – and Stephen Colbert now uses his time to have time to make fun of Donald Trump even more without inhibition. Jimmy Kimmel can't do it anymore.
America is still a country of the first amendment. Freedom of speech is interpreted by the legislator in a way that has no other Western democracy. No American court could convince anyone for inciting hatred or denying the Holocaust, you can publicly wave any flags and make a Nazi salute.
A claim for an incredible amount of $ 15 billion. (approx. PLN 54 billion 230 million, counting at the current exchange rate), which Donald Trump currently brings against the “New York Times” – the newspaper described him as a poor businessman and expressed support for Kamali Harris in the election – he will probably mainly cause laughter in court.
However, you do not have to go to court to bear freedom. Charlie Kirk is mourned by the American right as a martyr. Meanwhile, media companies allies humbly with the authoritarian government, which works in accordance with the principle: freedom of speech for me, but not for the media.
