Ukraine handed over lists to the Russian Federation for the exchange of prisoners in the “1000 to 1000” format – Zelensky

Ukraine has already handed over to the Russian side lists for the exchange of prisoners in the “1000 to 1000” format, and the United States has taken upon itself to guarantee the implementation of the agreements. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his daily video message on May 10.

Zelensky’s statement came after the words of the illegitimate president of the aggressor country of Russia, Vladimir Putin, who on May 9, during a press conference, said that Ukraine had allegedly “no proposals for the exchange of prisoners so far.”

The President of Ukraine actually denied these allegations and emphasized that preparations for the exchange continue with the mediation of the American side.

“Our contacts with the American side are now continuing on guarantees for the implementation of the agreements that were reached recently and which the US President spoke about. An exchange of prisoners “1000 to 1000” is being prepared and must be carried out. The Americans took upon themselves these guarantees. The Ukrainian coordination headquarters handed over the lists of 1000 to the Russian side. There was American mediation in this agreement,” Zelensky said.
