Extending the deadline for submitting applications for direct payments until 2026 allows farmers to calmly prepare complete applications and avoid mistakes. It is also a chance for more efficient payment of funds and better verification of documents. The Ministry emphasizes that it is not only about time, but also the quality of submitted applications.

Applications for direct subsidies for 2026 can be submitted until June 1 via the eWniosekPlus application. As explained by the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, latecomers have until June 26, but for each day of delay the funds will be reduced by 1%. Recruitment has been ongoing since March 15, and so far almost 380,000 have completed the formalities. farmers.

“We want everyone to have a real opportunity to submit an application correctly and without haste. Farmers have already shown many times that they can adapt, and it is our duty to create conditions that will allow everyone interested to submit an application calmly and correctly,” noted the Minister of Agriculture.
Direct payments 2026. Farmers are increasingly willing to use them
As ARiMR reminds, the basic rules for granting subsidies have not changed compared to last year. However, modifications have been made to some standards, selected payments and the method of completing applications.
In the 2025 campaign, over 507,000 applications for this support were submitted. farmers, while in 2024 it was approximately 209 thousand farms.

The payment rate for small farms in 2026 will be EUR 225 per hectare, which gives a maximum of EUR 1,125 per farm. The final amount in PLN depends on the euro exchange rate on September 30, 2026. At the exchange rate of PLN 4.27 per euro, the support will amount to approximately PLN 961.81 per hectare.
The payment is due to farmers with 1 to 5 ha of land covered by basic income support. The support replaces other direct payments, but the farmer can also apply for other forms of aid, such as LFA or ecological payments.
The Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture is planning payments in two stages: from October 16, 2026, advance payments will start (up to 70%), and from December 1, 2026, the remaining funds will be paid.
