President Karol Nawrocki, when asked about his relations with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski, said that – despite the differences – they are able to represent Poland on the international arena. He added that the implementation of Polish tasks at the UN Agenda is their common, propagating duty.

The president, when asked by journalists in New York, about his relationship with Sikorski said: – As for relationships with Mr. Sikorski Minister and our performances (in the UN forum, I would like you to have all the conviction that of course we have a lot different. (…) In internal policy, many of the President of Poland and the Polish government, while responsibility to the state, supporting our candidates in the UN forum is a Polish state.
– None of the presidents with whom I met at the UN, looks at what is happening here, through the prism of internal policy in Poland. Also, bringing this class, a prophecy class of carrying out Polish tasks at the UN agenda is a common, propagating duty of the first President of Poland and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and so it should always be – he added.
As he emphasized, “despite the differences, we are able to represent Poland internationally, we leave our disputes to our internal discussions.” – In the international stage we wanted to represent Poland with dignity and we should probably all enjoy it – said Nawrocki. (PAP)
