Zbigniew Ziobro became a political commentator of the Republic

Zbigniew Ziobro stated that “it is an honor for him to become a commentator on the largest conservative station in Europe.” – I think that the view from the American perspective will have its value and meaning for the station – commented Zbigniew Ziobro.

— Our cooperation will not be a precedent. (…) Other politicians of various stripes have participated in programs as commentators for years, he said. Zbigniew Ziobro also stated that he did not intend to hide. – I will be a careful observer of all matters that are happening on Polish soil – he noted.

In turn, in the statement of Telewizja Republika we read that “Telewizja Republika has been guarding fundamental freedoms and civil rights from the beginning of its existence.”

— I'm in the United States. It's a beautiful country, Zbigniew Ziobro said a moment earlier on Telewizja Republika. – This is some lost government, lost [Waldemar] Żurek, the politician added, when asked about reports that the government was trying to find out where he was.

Telewizja Republika reported earlier that former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro left Hungary and is currently staying in the United States. The TVN24 station published a photo received from a viewer, which appears to show the former minister at the Newark airport in New Jersey in the United States.
The former justice minister and attorney general was scheduled to be seen in the US on Saturday. According to wPolityce, Zbigniew Ziobro flew out of Hungary on Saturday and has an American visa. Zbigniew Ziobro about the accusations against himself. “The government's goal is to lock me up.”

Zbigniew Ziobro stated in an interview with Republika that he was aware of the allegations against him and that they included the purchase of fire trucks. – I would be happy to say this in court in my country, but the goal of this government is to lock me up in handcuffs – he noted.

Zbigniew Ziobro stated that he “does not succumb to violence.” – I fight with words, I fight with truth, I believe that the truth will win – he emphasized. — If we are talking about an organized criminal group, we can say this about those who constantly break order in Poland and who took over the public media by force. This is theft. (…) They took over the prosecutor's office by force and fired the judges, he noted.

– Today, Donald Tusk applies militant democracy, applies the law, as he said – you have to give it to him – as he understands it – added Zbigniew Ziobro.

Zbigniew Ziobro on possible extradition. “I advise them to do it right.”

Zbigniew Ziobro also criticized the current government's change of the national prosecutor's office. — If Minister Waldemar Żurek wants to submit an extradition request, this will be one of the arguments I will use before the American state. (…) If they file an extradition request, I advise them to do it well and not discredit the Polish state, said the politician.

“There will be no judge on call here,” said the former minister. – There will be no trusted judges by Waldemar Żurek here – he added.
