“In total, 966 cases of suction have been recorded in the region since the beginning of the season,” said Rospotrebnadzor. — Doctors suspect Siberian tick-borne typhus in one 10-year-old child, but this diagnosis has not yet been confirmed. In this case, the tick attack occurred in the local area in the village of Nikolskoye, Idrinsko-Krasnoturansky district.”
It is also noted that to date, acaricidal treatments have been carried out on an area of 377 hectares.
Epidemiologists predict an increase in the number of tick attacks with the arrival of sustained warmth and the second May holidays. Residents are asked to be attentive and not to let their guard down. If you find a tick on your body, carefully remove it and be sure to save it for laboratory testing.
