The second leg of the two semi-finals in the Europa League is contested today, from 22:00. Aston Villa – Nottingham Forest and Freiburg – Braga are the matches that will decide the teams that will participate in the last act of the competition. They will be televised by Prima Sport and Digi Sport.
The winners will play in the Europa League final, scheduled for May 20, in Istanbul.
Separated by a single goal going into the second leg of this Europa League semi-final, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa are fighting for their first appearance in a major European final since winning the European Champions Cup in the 1980s.
In the other semi-final, Freiburg are trying to become the third German team in the last five years to reach the Europa League final, after Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. The Germans need to overturn a 2-1 deficit against Braga, who are seeking their first final since the 2010/11 season, when they lost to FC Porto.
