In Krasnoyarsk, incessant rain since Wednesday evening has flooded many streets. In some places Large puddles have formed and traffic is difficult to navigate.
Road services reported that at night water pumping equipment worked on the streets of Belinsky, Lenin, Karl Marx, Pavlov, Tsementnikov, Red Square, in area of the Komsomol shopping center, as well as in other problem areas. Now the day shift continues to work on pumping water, and at the same time, the wells are being washed.
“It rained all night in Krasnoyarsk and many streets faced flooding. In some places there is not enough storm sewerage, and in others it simply could not cope with a large volume of water, including due to the increase in the level of the Kacha, Bazaikha and Bugach rivers,” said the UDIB.
Residents are asked to report flooded areas to the 005 dispatch service or write to the mayor's office and road workers on social networks. All applications are promised to be processed promptly.
