At least four and a half thousand tourists are stuck in a traffic jam at the entrance to the Crimean Bridge from Taman. According to Mash, 1,500 cars with vacationers are waiting their turn at the checkpoint due to forest fires in the Krasnodar Territory.
From 800 to 1000 cars initially went to Novorossiysk and Anapa. People learned about the fire, turned around and drove towards the peninsula. In total, more than five thousand cars with tourists are now rushing towards Crimea – cars, minibuses and large buses with tourists.
To get to the peninsula, you need to wait ±5 hours. The number of cars increases every half hour. The waiting time can be a record 7 hours. In 2023, the maximum wait time was 6.5 hours.
Forest fires in the Krasnodar region began yesterday. Within a few hours, the fire damaged dozens of buildings and reached the Abrau-Durso farm. The plant, seven hotels and entertainment complexes from a stable to a yacht club were under threat. And also 16 restaurants and one thousand hectares of grapes.
