Police detained in hot pursuit a Krasnoyarsk resident suspected of stealing goods from a jewelry store in the Kirovsky district of the city.
The crime was committed on May 5. A man, disguised as an ordinary customer, entered the store and asked an employee to show him a gold bracelet worth 280 thousand rubles. She allowed me to try on the product and helped fasten it on the client’s wrist. He pretended to be thinking about the purchase, after which he hurriedly left the trading floor without paying and disappeared in an unknown direction.
Law enforcement officers identified the attacker – he turned out to be a 37-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, previously convicted of property crimes.

The man admitted that he managed to sell the stolen product to a random passer-by and spent the proceeds on personal needs.
A criminal case was opened against the defendant under Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”. Now all the circumstances of the incident are being established, including the location of the bracelet.
