May 1st, known as International Labor Day, is an opportunity to relax for Romanians, who in large numbers choose to go to the outdoor barbecue.

However, Simona Țăranu, the well-known news presenter from Digi Sport, chose to spend in a different way, choosing an exotic destination, Palma de Mallorca, from where she published several photos.

How Simona Țăranu started her career in television

Simona Țăranu attended the “Petru Rareş” National College in Piatra Neamţ, then moved to Bucharest, where she studied Cinematography and Television at the Media University. The journalist confessed in the podcast moderated by Adrian Artene that the beginning in Bucharest was extremely difficult, informs Libertatea.

“The first two years were very difficult. During college, the teachers told us: “Don't finish college and wait to get a job, do it now”. There were colleagues who joined soap operas, there were a lot of productions at Buftea and they managed to get a job. Either practice or a job. I wanted to be in television, because I knew it would be a longer journey. Film projects are usually limited”, said Simona.
