Donald Trump's “Freedom Project” suspended. The US president has made a decision

The “Freedom Project” announced by President Donald Trump assumed the coordination of ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, but did not provide for providing them with a military escort, the Wall Street Journal previously reported. Nevertheless, American forces stationed in the region took part in the operation.
The US special operation lasted only two days. At that time, only two American-flagged merchant ships passed safely through the Strait of Hormuz.

Donald Trump announced on Tuesday night that the project was being suspended at the request of Pakistan and other countries, and based on the “tremendous military success achieved during the campaign against Iran.”

“We have made great progress towards a full and final agreement with the representatives of Iran, and we have mutually agreed that while the blockade will remain in full force, Project Freedom will be put on hold for a short period of time to see if the agreement will be finalized and signed,” the US president wrote on the Truth Social platform, without providing additional explanations.
