The management of Barcelona moved to a new plan to strengthen the offensive compartment. After Chelsea signaled they are not willing to sell Joao Pedro, the Catalans have added Paris Saint-Germain forward Goncalo Ramos (24) to their transfer list.

According to the publication TEAMtalk, the Parisian club is open to parting with the 24-year-old footballer, unhappy with his reserve role in the team.

In this context, Barcelona could enter a direct race with Chelsea for the signature of the Portuguese international.

Barcelona have expressed their intention to transfer Goncalo Ramos

With Barcelona expecting Robert Lewandowski to leave when his contract expires, the club are already looking for a replacement.

Julian Alvarez remains the priority, but the operation is a complicated one, while Chelsea are unwilling to sell Joao Pedro just a year after signing him.

This aspect led Barcelona to consider the Portuguese striker a more realistic option.

Goncalo Ramos has scored 12 goals in 41 appearances this season but has grown unhappy with his role under Luis Enrique, starting just 12 Ligue 1 games and none in the Champions League.

PSG transferred him from Benfica for 65 million euros in 2024.

His contract expires in 2028 and includes a release clause of 120 million euros, this amount could be negotiated taking into account his status. The striker is quoted by the specialized website Transfermarkt at 35 million euros.
