U Cluj will play 3 friendly matches in the training camp in Turkey

U Cluj will leave on January 3 for the training camp in Turkey, where Cristiano Bergodi's students will play 3 friendlies.

Fatih Karagumruk, Dukla Praga and Widzew Łódź will be the opponents of U Cluj in the 10-day training camp in Turkey. Bergodi's players will gather on January 2nd, on the 3rd they will leave for Antalya, and on the 13th they are scheduled to return to the country.

U Cluj's program in the winter training camp

“FC Universitatea Cluj ended the year in the best possible way, with three consecutive victories in the Super League and, after a short break, will prepare, in Turkey, for the final assault towards the play-offs. Bergodi's students will carry out a ten-day training camp in Antalya, between January 3 and 13, 2026, in which they will play three friendly matches.

The “students” will gather on January 2, 2026, and the next day they will leave for the camp, where they will be hosted for ten days by the five-star Sueno Deluxe Resort, located in the resort of Belek, in the province of Antalya.

During the training period in Turkey, our team will play three training matches, according to the following schedule:

  • January 6: FC Universitatea Cluj-Fatih Karagumruk (18th place in the first league in Turkey)

  • January 11: FC Universitatea Cluj-Dukla Prague (14th place in the Czech first league)

  • January 12: FC Universitatea Cluj- Widzew Łódź (15th place in the first league in Poland).

After returning to the country, U will continue training locally, and then on January 18 they will have the first official match of the year, away, in Bucharest, against Dinamo (20:30)”, U Cluj reported on the official website.

Entering the winter break, U Cluj is in 7th place in the Superliga, with 33 points, tied with Oțelul, the team in 6th place, but with a lower goal difference.
